MY GOALS IN BOISE
(12 ACTS) (1) Oppose proposals & legislation which increase and complicate taxes in Idaho. (I support adopting a user-fee based system in Idaho, where the people who use state based services pay a fee for the services that they use) "IF YOU DON'T USE IT, YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TO PAY FOR IT"! (2) Add 'sexual orientation' to Idaho's employment and housing anti-discrimination laws. (NO IDAHOAN, REGARDLESS OF WHO THEY ARE PHYSICALLY ATTRACTED TO OR WHOM THEY SPEND CONSENSUAL ADULT TIME WITH, SHOULD BE DENIED THE EQUAL RIGHT TO EARN A LIVING OR HAVE A ROOF OVER THEIR HEAD) (3) Draft,sponsor or co-sponsor legislation defining clear and specific limits on Idaho state political campaign contributions and expenditures. (SPENDING & RECEIVING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO CAMPAIGN FOR ELECTED OFFICE ESPECIALLY IN TIMES OF ECONOMIC HARDSHIP IS OFFENSIVE. CANDIDATES SHOULD BE ELECTED ON THE BASIS OF MERIT AND DESIRE TO WORK FOR THE PEOPLE, NOT ON HOW MUCH MONEY THEY EARN OR SPEND) (4) Draft,sponsor or co-sponsor legislation which would reduce the salaries of executive and judicial branch officials to match the annual salary of the average Idahoan. (NO PUBLIC SERVANT SHOULD EARN MORE THAN THE PEOPLE WHO ELECT THEM!!! PROPER GOVERNMENT IS BASED ON SERVING THE PEOPLE NOT ON A PAYCHECK) (5) Work towards an Idaho based healthcare solution restricting the abusive billing practices of Idaho health care providers as well as the coercive actions of health insurance companies. (6) Sponsor or co-sponsor legislation strengthening the mandatory care law in Idaho requiring Idaho healthcare practitioners to treat ANY Idahoan with or without health insurance. (7) Sponsor or co-sponsor legislation which would cap the prices that healthcare providers in Idaho are allowed to charge patients in Idaho for specific life-essential services relative to a patients monthly income. (8) Sponsor or co-sponsor legislation which would define the maximum amount a plaintiff can seek in medical malpractice lawsuits here in Idaho to a conservative and reasonable limit. ( Acts 5,6,7 and 8 will start to solve any healthcare crisis in Idaho) (9) Sponsor or co-sponsor legislation which would reduce or eliminate state Alcohol and Cigarette specific taxes. (10) Sponsor or co-sponsor legislation which will reduce or eliminate taxes on IDAHO based businesses. (11) Oppose ALL proposals & legislation which reduce direct control of the residents of district 33 in the governing of their own lives. (12) Oppose ALL efforts from the federal government forcing Idahoans to purchase health insurance.
